I got in!!!! Whooo!!!

... to Manhattan School of Music. Just found out via email, which is somewhat less dramatic than an envelope, but who cares? I'll be in New York! Stalking Matt Dillon! Oh yeah, and going to school, blah, whatever. Plus I have to find a hundred grand American lying around somewhere.

Meh.

Still, it's nice to be wanted. :D :D

music, school, new york

They charge that much? Oh my flying spaghetti monster. D:

But it is nice to be wanted. Even if it's in that "we'll never actually be together" kind of way like the school seems to be implying as far as you being there. :(

Yeah ... the pricetag will have to be somehow amended or it really will be unrequited lol.

YEAAHHHHaaaww. Do they not give stipends?? I have never heard of tuition that high, especially not for advanced schooling.

Oh well! Congrats on being a desirable music catch, so posh.

LOL that's the total cost for the whole degree ... for international students. It's about 31 grand a year for tuition alone, and then about 15 grand for room and board in NYC, and then 5 grand for incidental/medical insurance which HOLY COW is 2000 dollars.

Anyway ... that's 50,000 a year. It's probably not really worth it but ... meh, it's still kinda cool. :D :D

Thanks! I had no idea how easy I had it in terms of university costs ... well, I had an idea but now it's a whole different level of shock lol. I got lucky and my whole first degree ended up costing me 15,000 - Canadian lol.

One advanced music degree: $100,000.

Stalking Matt Dillon: Priceless.
