Just got a call. I've been offered just enough to entice me to commute into the city. (Slightly more than I was making, plus some nice stock options...and the benefits are good.) So... I'll be starting tomorrow at my new job.

They're a little eager to get someone in there.

Thanks! I'm fairly decent at landing on my feet, but tend to be a bit paranoid until it happens. I wasn't even eligible for unemployment yet, as my sev pay had time to go. I'm happy about that.

Congrats! Just remember, commuting has lots more options then just driving the pike into Boston. There are lots of routes, and there are trains,m and other conveniences.

Some details a few posts back. Company is called Carbonite. And I'm definitely taking the commuter rail. I'll be heading in around 7am mornings I am sans neo_blackwolf and immediately after dropping him off on the days I have him in the am.
