I just went to the website of my gym (YWCA) to check the class schedule; as of next Monday the gym is closed, buh-bye, gone. I know they've been having problems for ages, but it just seems so abrupt. I was there last week and didn't see any sign of the announcement either. Clearly I'm at a place where I can re-evaluate my exercise options.
