I don't know why Miso soup does that but I love to watch it... I'm a hard-core purchaser of the instant miso-soup packets you can buy, always some in my cupboard.

except that I walked past this spot seconds later and there was no cockroach around, squished or otherwise.

I also don't normall creep up on a cockroach, pounce, then sprint away around a corner giggling madly, only to pause about 15m beyond the corner to give people suspicious stares..
