an old-timer from the a.a. group i've been going to, someone who influenced me quite a bit in getting my ass off smack again (as well as influenced my dad in his sobriety), died today from a cerebral hemorrhage. i went to see him in the hospital yesterday while he was on life support, but it's still quite shocking to me considering that i just saw

I know it sounds cheesy, but I really feel like he wants his message to be carried out by those people whose lives he touched.
