Wow...I mean...wow.
I've had ideas about stuff like this, about magic disappearing from the world.

Very well written images. :)

Thankyou! It's something I've been thinking about for ages too, in a lot of different fandoms: definitely not a resource that's dry yet!

Yeah...it sort of reminded me of LoTR. I only read the first book, but I think part of the story was the fact that England used to have magic and magical creatures, but the invention of machines destroyed everything except Man. I think...

I feel like I've just been punched square in the stomach - in a good way, sort of.

"Cats with wings, Sophocles, contraceptives, a german dictionary and grass skirts"? Sounds intriguing! Any chance I can get a link?

Yay, thankyou! If you don't mind my asking, how did you find this? It's just I've had a quite a few people commenting on this fic in the last few days, and I was wondering why the sudden surge!

And I'm afraid there isn't a link to the next fic, as it's still in potentia. devkel's not around right now, and the community's kind of at a standstill for a bit. Sorry.

But if you want to read the other fic I wrote for the community, it's here, and if you want to read the rest of spectacular and erb's stuff, just scroll down through the comm.

shaychana rec'ced it in crucio-4-coffee's LJ thread "Fandom in a Blender - Discussion: In praise of fringe writers" here:
http://crucio-4-coffee.livejournal.com/32752.html

That LJ I found via aldebaran1977's rec of c-4-c's (absolutely hilarious!!!) fic "Exactly Where to Stick It".

Hope this helps.
