Trying to make travel plans and getting grumpy about it

 Lydia's dance team is going to nationals this summer in Orlando. When I signed up for this gig, I was told that nationals are usually at the beach in our own state. After we'd committed, I found out they like to do a "big" nationals every 4 years and this is one of those years. Not only do we have to pay to go to Orlando, but we must be available

We are on year #7 of dance ourselves. It is expensive! We have an optional dance team performance at Disney that we are opting out of because it is scheduled over spring break - one of the busiest and most expensive times to go to WDW.
