You know when a song takes you back in to a time and place, and you feel the same emotions that you felt then? This one does it for me. Everytime.
In other non-mushy news, Bell Sympatico is full of SHIT. The internet wasn't working when I got home from work today (no surprise), so I gave them a call. One thing lead to another, and the operator idiot dude told me the problem is that the phone cable that runs from the wall jack to the actual model is "too long" and that if it's "too long" it will deterioate (this is the -actual- word he used) and no longer work. Apparently, they supply a 6 ft cable along with the modem, and that should be used as it is not "too long" and therefore, does not deteriorate over time. ?!?!
I thought maybe I'd google it, but decided to save my bandwidth for something worthwhile and just ask my brother know-it-all. I, of course, will stand corrected if this is true, but I just can't believe something like that. The guy totally sensed the debelief in my voice and started to be very condescending. Reedickulous. I know you all love how I spelled that one.
EDIT: OK. The guy meant the signal deteriorates over time... which makes a lot more sense than the actual physical cable. I guess I should've realized that as I've had tons of experience dealing with sympatico and trying to get a clear signal (stupid phone filters).
