mutant mosquito bite #2

Well, now it hurts to type. Fucking Waterloo mosquitoes.

What started off looking like this,

And here I thought mosquitoes were only jerks to me. I've scratched mosquito bites so much that I've got scars on my arms that are pretty ugly looking. But I've never had the kind of reaction you've had. You may be allergic, as everyone above me has said. Maybe try using some kind of lemon based moisturizing cream all over your body so mosquitoes won't come anywhere near you next time. Feel better anyway.

On the same note as the lemon based cream, try citronella based stuff or lavender oil. They work! I think I've mentioned this to you already though.

I agree with the above; I think you might be allergic. Especially if creams and after bite aren't working, go see a doctor, stat. It could kill you if you got bitten on the neck. I hope your hands feel better and de-swell soon... :)

i agree with what everyone else has said too. when you come home you should see if you can get a referral from your doctor to see an allegist. maybe there's something to do with mosquitos or whatever they inject into you when they bite that you're allegic to. or maybe they can give you something so that you don't swell up. especially if you went camping or into a forest and got more bites, you could swell up all over, or if mr evil mosquito (lol) got you mear your neck, you could end up with blocked air passages and that would not be good :(

last time i got all swollen they gave me pragnozone (i know spelled that wrong) at the hospital when i was allergic to penicilin. doctors anywhere give it out too. it suppresses your immune system to make the swelling go down.

keep me posted on how you're doing. hope you get better soon ♥
