a matter of social animals and predators

So I decided awhile ago that I was going to become a more proactive participant in life. I was tired of letting it pass me by. Anyways, you spend enough time and you find that you find the base animal instincts even in the basic social interactions of humans. A matter of predators and their prey. Which one are you?

I think you're misinterpreting the intent of the statement. By saying that basic human interaction is like animal hierarchy and interaction, I'm trying to say that people are either selfish working towards their own gain (ie the predator) or working for a general benefaction (ie the prey). It's the basic idea of social darwinism, survival of the fittest. It's not meant to be overthought, it's just a metaphor anyway.
