blogspot blocked again?

... anyone have any idea when blogspot and/or blogger might be up again in the PRC?

My friends from Shenzhen, Beijing, Nanjing, etc can't access it although some in Shanghai can...

Whenever the particular filter that your friends are under decides to remove it from its block list.

That said, recommend that your friends download Tor, so that they don't have to deal with such blockages.

No idea, it doesn't work for me either. Am just doing a happy dance that LJ is unblocked for the time being ...

No idea, and don't get used to LJ being unblocked. It was unblocked once, and then got blocked again two weeks later.

*sigh* I hope it comes back again eventually. I've already switched blog providers once. Everyone I asked told me blogspot.com *never* gets blocked... >.< Either that or MSN/Yahoo blogs... but they're so 土 you know?

yeah, it's blocked again according to one of my faculty currently in China. He's in Beijing I think...
