Much as I like Chinese, stuff like this is part of the reason I'll only ever visit the mainland.

dont really see how this justifies your point, since there are things like Tor and other proxies that allow u to access anything anywhere. I mean it mught be annoying at times, but I wouldnt give up on mainland that easily

Eh, it's the government in general that's the reason, really. This is more just a symptom thereof, if that makes sense.
