Hi guys.

I'm new to this community and just recently joined Livemocha, a language social networking site. I was wondering if I could get someone to proofread my introduction. I just started this year, so I can only say basic phrases, here's what I have:

你好。我叫琳達。 我是越南人， 但是我在美國出生。現在我是大學生。我 學 習 法 文和中文。我想做新的朋友。

Don't trust me 100% on this, but I would say you could add a 的 to the end of your third sentence.

Also, you don't need spaces between the words ^^

I was gonna say she could take the existing 的 out of her third sentence, lol.

Right: no spaces between characters.

Also, you don't need to write 我 so many times. Instead, take them out and link the sentences with commas instead of periods.

希望能夠跟大家聊聊天,交朋友.
saying "大家" seems to be a good way to address everyone on the website.

认识你我很高兴。Uhm, 最后一句好像有问题，说“希望可以跟大家交朋友”比较好. 还有应该说“但在美国出生的“
