A long time ago in a undergraduate class which I don't remember the name of, I remember a uncommonly interesting lecture on revolution and social change. I want to believe the revolution is coming, and everyone will be left awe-struck as Ron begins to take the primaries. I want to believe it. I want to watch it happen and smile in the faces of all those people who keep telling me to back someone else -- that advice sounding so ridiculously insipid -- how can the revolution come if I BACK SOMEONE ELSE?! Back someone else because they will win? They will win because I BACK THEM! Fucking RETARD! It doesn't happen backwards, it's shouldn't happen backwards, it won't happen backwards. I want to believe it, that people are ready for change, that the message will spread like wildfire. When people tell me, "Yeah, he can raise money, but can he win?" Who do you think is giving him money? You seriously think someone would give up their livelihood for a belief and when it comes time to vote not follow through? Why would you waste money like that? Why would you give money to one person and vote for someone else? How does that make sense? But they keep saying these things not seeing ( ... )
