Some advice please

I have recently had the displeasure of bad shipping of vinyl from england. The records themselves are ok, but the slipcases are damaged. And the packaging methods are inferior to those of other mailorder places that I buy records from.

Wow - you haven't yet received a response from them? Absolutely horrendous... they should be positive ashamed.

They actually did respond, but it was not at all satisfying. It amounted to "we're sorry, but our packing works fine for us." They sent me another copy of the Burial record (which was nice), but didn't pack it any better than the first ones and it arrived damaged also (which was sad).

I have resigned myself to doing all I can not to order from them if at all possible. Forced Exposure and Midheaven, however, have been excellent. Oh yes, and I ordered the Juno soundtrack in vinyl from Amazon.com and it arrived in excellent packaging also. No complaints there either.
