Yes; my mum's diary about the time when she was pregnant with me and when I was a baby. They made me cry, in a good and a bad way, and I felt bad for doing it for weeks.
Apart from that, never. At least I can't recall it immediately now.

My parents were still together.

When something went wrong or got too complicated, a parent would hug you and tell you it's okay. No one does that today anymore; you have to sort out everything by yourself.

Genereally, not having to care about much. Things were less complicated. The simplicity of things.

So. I had my French exam today, and the second question asked me to write a fictional letter to a French friend about a celeb that I had met recently. My mind went blank, and then I extended my wordlimit with praise for Captain Fine :)
