Sorry, but he's being a jerk. It seems to me that he's just taking advantage of you and trying to strong-arm you into doing what he wants with cheap psychological tricks.

Granted, comparing furries to "normal" people might not be an argument in your favor ;-)

FWIW, I try to keep the heater at 60 in the winter at night, and maybe 65 during the day. 68 is just ridiculous; I can't imagine what my bill would be like, and I also would probably not own any blankets. o.0

And yeah...20 people is SLIGHTLY more...

Actually, me and Cheetah leave the thermostat at 68. If it gets cold, we put on sweaters or fleece jackets. I will usually turn one of the blankets into a makeshift cloak, because hey, long flowing drapery is AWESOME. :D

So... I guess we are not normal people. XD

its not the behavior that is abnormal i'm willing to believe people do that for their heating. its the argument structure. you know?
