I'm going hiking up in Tunica Hills tomorrow. Thinking about renting a mountain bike...we'll see. If anyone has any suggestions (trails, directions, things to avoid...etc.) lemme know! Also, mother taught me to never go hiking alone without telling someone where I was going and when I planned to be back....so if I'm not back at school on monday,

haha, but that's the point! I want to be nonconformist and Thoreau-like. I want to wander the woods in my solitude and contemplate really, really deep stuff. :)

i would really recommend not renting a bike. it's way too steep and rocky. go on the primitive trails - they're not all the way cleared, and marked with paint on the trees. you'll get to see awesome waterfalls. my favorite is just walking along the creek beds. you'll get to see most of the waterfalls that way. i love tunica hills!!! have fun and bring lots of water :).
