I saw this poseted on FB (from another community, and from another before that, likely).  Co-housing/commulnal living SOUNDS good, but there are certain to be some drawbacks as well.  I'm interested in feedback as to YOUR thoughts as to what those might be and how they might be handled.  For instance, one of the big deals is "Oh, more hands to ( Read more... )

Talk about those in advance also. Be aware that America destroys many lives with job loss and medical bills. A household can help buffer that if you choose to do so, but you can't prevent it from happening, and it might drag everyone down together. There's no limit on what they can charge people.

Often large sums are counted while smaller ones are not. Income-sharing is a different issue, usually done by experienced communards because it's more complicated.
