I have invested in an item that I'm going to use for a physical therapy type exercise table. It's firmer than a bed but it's up off the floor so I can get up and get down without assistance from the fire/rescue.
I plan to use it three times a week for set exercises and hopefully a couple of times aside from that for other

I have one of those under-desk "bikes" and was completely unable to use it under my desk because my knees kept hitting the underside of the desktop. When it arrived it was much larger than I was expecting, which is no bad thing because it was obviously sturdy. Adjusting the tension with a knob was good. As a fatty, my legs are used to doing a lot of work, so the normal setting was nothing but repetition for me. Adjusting it so I could feel the tension helped a lot.
(In the end, I found the most enjoyment with a video I found on eBay called LeAnn's Chair Workout. It was especially useful when I was not able to stand unaided just after my myeloma diagnosis. And it's fun.)
