Yay for hanging pictures! I have my pictures in frames but not yet hung up. Adding personal touches is going to be an ongoing fun project :)

Seems like your home-settling process has been going well too! That's always good to hear.

*hugs back*

How cool to finally have a home! As someone who does a certain amount of tech support - ask your friends in your area about how Verizon deals with problems as part of your research process. It can be an important piece that you don't find out until too late.

That's a great suggestion. There are two main competitors within the city -- Verizon and Time Warner. Rumor has it that Time Warner's crappy customer service has improved vastly now that Verizon HD/Fios has all of a sudden become a rival. I'll try to find out just how good (hopefully) Verizon is -- or else I'm going to start looking into their competitor's deals! ;p

It's a beautiful place. When you and tanechigai visit NYC next, I'd love to have you come visit! :D

Yay for settling in! Our digital converter is not working for some reason so we've had no TV since the transition. =^(

Also, I STILL have not bought those American Idol tickets! Now I am leaning toward Saturday at the Prudential Center because I heard that venue is pretty new and I'd like to check it out. Help me decide! And I hope that you can go!

Hmm... I can still do the Saturday. The Wednesday option is out for me completely -- just found out I have a proposal due that day and usually that means 99% certainty I'll have to stay late at work to finish up.

Whatever you decide, buy the ticket! This way you'll know you're going to watch them for sure :D
