Damn the back of my head

I've been cutting my own hair for the past several years, and in that time I've gotten pretty good at it.  I mean, lets face it, I don't have the most complicated haircut to begin with.  As long as its short and somewhat manly, I'm a happy camper.  But no matter how I try, I can't seem to get the back right, largely because I can't see it

I looked at the back using that mirror on mirror trick yesterday after posting this, and I don't see any gouges. I think my Mom is just horrified that I cut my own hair for some reason. I think it mentally translates at "hobo" for her or something.
