Today I finished a take-home exam for "War and Peace and The Brothers Karamazov in Translation." and yet I can't help but think Dostoevsky basked in his own isolation, savoring the workings of his passionate mind...

but also, isolation sucks.

Maybe he wasn't ok with isolation at first, but a couple years in Siberia probably got him acquainted with the incredible workings of his passionate mind.
