I'm guessing I'm the friend you mentioned in the beginning haha. I kind of ended up dropping my creative writing class :( it turned out that much of that class was centered around writing - and reading aloud your work to the class...not quite something I'm comfortable with. ah well. I wish you luck :)

I'll still be updating my journal though so if you don't want to be outdone...the challenge is on! :)

Oh it is so ON! Ha ha ha. That's too bad about the class. Perhaps you could take it here online over the summer. So far I really like it. We have weekly posts and you have to comment on at least one post. The nice thing about it being online is that you don't have to read anything outloud. Though we will be put into groups to edit each others work. I don't think that will be so bad. I feel that I am a good editor. Hopefully other people will have constructive comments as well.

The book we are reading is actually really good. I may of already told you about it. I will try and send you my work so you can edit it as well (even though I won't be getting anything in return *tear*). ^_^
