My biggest news at the moment is that I got a job for the fall season! I'll be the second mate on the Clearwater. I'm a little nervous about it. The crew sounds pretty good. The new first mate was the bosun when I was an apprentice. The cook is Tom from winter crew. The engineer is the current deckhand. The bosun hasn't been hired yet
