Cymbals Sound the Different

Ok, i just got a brand new Zildjian Custom A 15inch crash cymbal... the thing is... the one that i use to have sounded bright and shimmering, this one sounds stiff and metal/ kind of trashy... i don't like it... i don't understand it, their both the same exact cymbal. The only possible explanations are that
