I can pretty much die happy now that this movie has been made in this way by this particular director. Creative gambles coming out of hollywood are so rare, and they inspire the shit out of me. There is stuff in the trailer that makes me want to fall down and never get up again... in a good way.

Ali and I watched that a few days ago and got excited about the movie-and I'm not the hugest fan of the book. I like it fine, but it wasn't a beloved book of my childhood.

Also you can't die happy yet.
