A male engrossed in diving is like a method actor; they are so lost in the part that they need careful direction, because they can not step back from the part(ed lips) to assess their performance. You need to point for him; while a bit of a mood-kill, he will learn quickly, and improvisation will follow. It's just like riding a bike or playing the violin.*

*both of which I learned while simultaneously learing to dispatch oral delights. It was an after school program thing.

ah I shall next time for you see, twas my first time on the recieving in so i wasnt quite sure what to expect and while other areas he is experienced in, he is still rather new to giving as well.

I think that half the fun is in the learning--assuming the curve does not not loop around aimlessly. A young man devouring for the first time ought to be encouraged for a time, effectiveness aside, unless he ends up zerberting a womans belly button, at which point direction would aid both parties. (This from Ms. Manners column, see).
