I just want to state for the records that I do not like the Santa Anas. They dry out my nose, cause my cuticles to crack and bleed, they make it hot in frggin' October, and remind me of last years fires. I swear I can smell fire in the air, even though I know that's not the case. :^/

So, Corinne goes away for the week, and the house machines start dying on us.

* We got our sink repaired and lost our dishwasher connector in the process
* The Roomba had a part fall off of it and isn't working
* The dryer, for no reason whatsoever, just stopped

Why are they dying on me?!

BTW, someone's b-day is in a week. Just sayin'. ;^)

So, Sarah is on her way to the hospital I write this. She's well past her due date, but the baby doesn't seem to want to leave. They are going to induce tonight and if the baby doesn't arrive by Saturday she'll have a C-section. I'll update if I get any new information; please do the same if you know anything. :^)

Okay, so I owe a post about my experience back in Pennsylvania, but that'll come in the next few days some time. I've been back in SD for about half a week now. I got back late on Saturday, and did basically nothing (apart from watching football games) on Sunday. Monday I read papers for class, and then went to my first class of the semester. Just a quick note: Our annual Oktoberfest party is coming up in about a month. Tentatively, it looks like it'll be held 11 October. My roommates already started stocking up on German beer.
