OMG I LOVE METAS AND I LOVE THIS.

what I LOLed at Mayor Happy Funtimes and Professional Life Ruiner

wait, wait, there are people who think the Governor is a better leader and father than Rick Grimes??? O.o what's wrong with them? It's obvious, due to Morissey's excellent acting, that there is something way, way WAY off with him. You conveyed that excellently above with your words.

I applaud you. BRAVO

Excellent breakdown of the psychology of a deeply, deeply fucked-up character. I'm kind of staggered (and profoundly disturbed) that a post like this even needed to be written, but you did a splendid job of it. Especially the bits where you discuss "the Governor does not actually care about you, or anybody" and "the Governor will fucking kill you if he decides you're more useful to him dead."

The fact that he has fangirls kind of blows my mind. Because no. Also no.

Have you ever read Watership Down? Because since this season started, I've been referring to the Governor as General Woundwort, and Woodbury as Efrafa. And the analogy just gets more accurate with every episode (especially now that he's lost the eye).
