Raleigh, N.C. - A state lawmaker introduced a bill Wednesday that would require anyone seeking a North Carolina driver's license to be able to speak, read and write English.

Hell, half the people who were BORN here can't speak, read or write English!

yup, and the idea that you can't drive in another country without speaking the language is also dead wrong, lots of people get certified to drive abroad on vacations without learning the local language. Americans are so xenophobic and ignorant it pisses me off! But then to be educated they'd have to speak "goddam English"
