Assistant Managers Rant
I am an assistant manager. I have been doing this job for over a year on a "trial" basis.
So for the last year i have been getting paid the same amount as the other employees of
my division and called upon for tons of extra work.
Well i got a call from my boss (he's in fucking Aruba atm) telling me the FINALLY I'm worthy of earning the Assistant Managers Salary. For the past 5 years i have paid hourly with tons of overtime. So i get my first big fat check today and find out that,
my raise comes to $-13,000 a year. Yes on salary I will be taking home over 10 grand less
than I made last year.
THIS IS NOT A FUCKING RAISE.
I AM NOT A FUCKING MORON.
IT'S FUCKING COLD OUT AND MY BOSS IS IN FUCKING ARUBA RIGHT NOW
Btw i curse like a truck driver because I am a truck driver.
