Zika,wow what a adventure! I'm in the military so I don't know what it feels like. I have smoked weed in my way younger years and remember what that was like. I didn't know that K2 was addictive like that. I'm happy to hear that you are fine now and wish/pray for the best for you. Take care.

Hey lilmage. It feels like weed at first. Yaknow that rush you get right after smoking that last about 15 mins? K2 is like that for 40-60mins then it just fades.

Oh my god.... I just shook my keyboard upside down and like a gram of shake fell out... Could be funny under other circumstances.

I'm sure my story is on the extream side, and some people can manage life with it, however I have read other reports similer to mine. So if you know anyone who is thinking about it, please relate my harrowing tale. If one persone avoids this hell it was worth the time I spent writing it.

You pretty much nailed my problems with substance abuse. I have really high defences irl, and it's tough to let people in. So most of my adolecence was spent introverted with very few close friends. When i smoked weed people said I was less uptight and easier to get along with.

This stuff however, did not help in anyway. The only social time was when my bro and I drove to Amherst for a Phish show. I coulda done that sober.

Yes i've been to more than 1 Phish show completly sober.

You shouldn't run from your problems and go high to forget them; it's deadly risky. That chemical is way powerful, I doubt I could be able to smoke it, deal with the effects and the come down without feeling traumatized.
You must quit.

Long story short, I think God/Altana is trying to tell you that XI's a much safer addiction to have in your life. Send me an IM sometime on AIM (shirokazesan), and I'll tell you how it's 100,000,000x better! =D

Oh man, same thing has happened to me! I returned from a three year hiatus this last month to see that Vana'diel has been completely turned on its head. I did a Dynamis-Xarcabard run, and when assassin's armlets didn't drop a fourth time some girl started cursing SE. I lectured her (using Zika as an example at one point) about how bad it used to be, and that she really ought to be counting her blessings. As it turned out, the people in my alliance thought I was exaggerating. Every experience I've had so far has followed that same pattern.

2 things i missed most about "old school" dynamis.

1) Having an entire linkshell spawn dead on top of clueless noobs in the starting cities.

2) Imagining the look on a Northlands virgin when I tell them 1 drop was considered "a good run" in dyna beuc and Xarcabard
