Dirty feet and fluky cable connections

So cHris is out of town for the second part of this week, and so far no more lightbulbs have blown. This is good since he didn't have a chance to replace the kitchen one. I don't think I could lose many more ( Read more... )

You can wash her and her clothes at the same time.

I suppose I could... but I'm not sure what bothers her so about baths. She's been bathed in little tubs, big tubs, little tubs within big tubs, and sinks; with Mommy, with big brother, by herself... the only real common factor is that she's been nude every time, which is kind of the point.

I am considering a swimsuit, or working her down to a diaper, and if she will deal with the sink, at least she's not already too big for it. I'd try to wash her clothes too, but I'd be afraid she'd be scared by that- or uncomfortable, onesies seem like they'd chafe when wet.

Don't you wish they could just tell you what's bugging them sometimes? I never heard of a kid who didn't like taking a bath. But each one is different. That's what makes it fun. Sometimes.

Would she be happy with just a little t-shirt, or just panties? If you can get most of her clean, that's better than nothing. And the only part of her that gets really dirty gets cleaned several times a day.

I'm hoping I can get her down to a onesie and diaper, or even a diaper and tank top. I think I'll also stick to the sink for the time being too. In fact, I'll let Caedmon play in his tub while I try the sink (quickly) tomorrow.

Poor little gal. Swimsuit might be a ood start though...that or letting her run around naked a bit before the bath or have her watch you get it ready.

She starts crying about the time she hears the water run. The most success we've had was having her watch Caedmon play in the tub first, but even then she balked at joining him. :(

and she does seem to like being naked while she's on the changing table... and that is a typical toddler thing. I'm glad she can't really get away from up there, or I'd be chasing a Naked Toddler around the house!
