Those scrolls make great swords for impromptu sword fights... why not, it's their big day. They earned it.

I am hoping my girls will have more decorum... oh, I hope not! Silly people rule! Life's too short for all that decorum stuff.

And most of what has gotten me through is the thought that I get to do it two more times. And each event will be completely different, just like each child is completely different.
