eccentrica74 made a beautiful colorbar months ago in which she colored just parts of a woman's clothing, and left the rest of each pic b&w. It was so long ago that she doesn't even have it in her user info anymore, lol, but hopefully she still remembers giving me permission to make similar ones! :P All credit for this idea goes to her.

I'm nabbing the small one of Viggo for my userinfo, thank you! I'll credit, of course. *hugs*

how do you do these colorbars? I have been trying to make them.

Basically, I take the pic in full color, cut it to a workable size with all the extraneous stuff out and copy it into a new document. In the new document, duplicate the layer. Then desaturate the bottom layer and hide it. On the top (still in color) layer, I used the Photoshop magic wand tool and the eraser to delete everything except the color I wanted to keep. Then I unhid the bottom b&w layer, cleaned it up a bit, and flattened the image. I did that with each pic, then created a new document and put them all in one and arranged them. Then I flattened that document and resized it to make it fit a user info page, and saved it as a .jpg file.
That's pretty much it in a nutshell, lol. I suppose I could try making a tutorial, if you think anyone would be interested...
