Oooh, gakked #9 right up! Great job on these and great idea for an LJ, there arent enough icon LJ's out there! I friended you right away, cant wait to see more. I noticed your away message photoshopping a lot lately, now I know what youve been up to!
I'm quite proud of that one--it was the only one I could come up with some fun text! I was kind of worried because once I reduced the size of the pic, you couldn't really see that the bracelet is sparkly, but whatever!
Glad you liked, thanks so much for commenting! *hugs*
Oh my, I should have warned you - it might become an obsession. *ggg* Very nice icons indeed. Maybe you want to try playing with the blending modes of the layers a bit. :-) And of course I friended this journal. :)
I'm definitely becoming obsessed! But it's a fun obsession! *ggg*
Blending is definitely something I want to work on. I played a bit with blending in #4 and #10, but I definitely want to play more! Just out of curiosity, do you use any photoshop books, or do you learn most of your stuff through experimentation?
Thanks for commenting and friending, and for all your help and sharing and encouragement! *hugs*
No books. Just tutorials I can find on the web. And to be honest, I'm professional working with Photoshop (for about 6 years now). So no need to envy my "talents", OK? :-) As long as it's fun, you should really be experimental. Don't stress yourself, always keep in mind that it's only a hobby. Only.A.Hobby.Only.A.Hobby.Only.A.Hobby. - If only I could keep that in mind ;)
I definitely have self-confidence issues, lol. I can't even begin to tell you how many things I've worked on for hours then decided I hate. :P But I'm slowly getting over it! You're right, it's just a hobby! So I'm just gonna have fun with it! *gg*
