hey, sorry i haven't talked to you much. life is crazy right now :(
way too stressful to tell you the truth. walmart is getting really hard to work at. i want to quit, but i just can't afford to. i'm trying to find some place else to work, but i think most places would be hard to work at right now. anyway i'll try and remember to keep in contact. i dont' like losing my friends do to my own busyness so don't forget i still love you!

Wow, I didn't know you thought you had cancer! Wow. I know how it feels. I got so sick a few years back that I lost 25 lbs. in 3 weeks. Everyone thought I had cancer, too. Turned out to be something really simple.

Do you know about all of Miyazaki's films? He's the guy who did SPIRITED AWAY and MY NEIGHBOR TOTORU, of course. Like I said, his latest is HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE. Haven't seen it yet, dunno if it's even on dvd yet. I'd love to watch it, though. I'll bet it's amazing. His other films include:

PRINCESS MONONOKE
CRIMSON PIG
KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE
CASTLE IN THE SKY
NAUSICAA OF THE VALLEY OF THE WINDS

That's all I can think of for now. I'll keep you in mind, though, if I come across any more cool anime.

thanx for the info....I have seen Castle In the Sky, and KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE...I love the latter!! I'll be looking for HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE, though...that sounds very interesting.... I like what he does.... oh yah and wut was the name of that one that u told me bout from the book u had sunday??? that sounded pretty neat too....

That other movie mentioned in the book is NIGHT ON THE GALACTIC RAILROAD. I've also read that STEAMBOY is supposed to be good. It's relatively new.

I read a book recently that you might enjoy: THE BOOK OF THE DUN COW, by Walter Wangerin. You'd probably also enjoy the novels of Steven R. Lawhead, a Christian author who's written some great fantasy/sci-fi novels and a brilliant series on Arthurian legend. His best, in my opinion, are TALIESEN, MERLIN, and ARTHUR. You can find them on Amazon.com.

Also (you do read fantasies, right?), you must read Terry Pratchett. He's one of the funniest writers I've ever read. He's written a ton of books, many in a 'Discworld' series. I've read INTERESTING TIMES, and it was brilliant, but the first in the series, which you'd probably want to start with, is THE COLOR OF MAGIC. I just sent that one to my brother in tech school.
