I never saw any of his other movies other than JAWS, but as an avid fan of that classic set of flicks I'd like to pay a little tribute to Roy Scheider, the man who beat the shark. A few times.

Whew!! I thought we were going to have to fundraise for that new basketball arena! And the new baseball stadium - for our new baseball team! Thank God that the Academics and Theatre departments are full to the brim with donations...that had me worried there...
