Here are my lists o' 2011. Please note that I tediously kept track of my exact ratings for everything at the time I heard/read/saw/played it, but when it came time to make these lists I used my opinions of them now, which are probably no longer accurate. ex: I rated my #2 and #3 albums both an "A" and my #1 an A-, but I decided by the end of the ( Read more... )

Lol, I saw it with my mom and yeah, I enjoyed it. We laughed a lot (saw it over Christmas, on a weekday, so hardly anyone else was in the theater). Just because the twilight movies are terrible doesn't mean I don't watch them all. :p I was waiting till DVD (or second-run theater) for this one but my mom wanted to go! Haha.. Apparently she saw all the movies recently on FX and kind of loved them. My mom is a huge movie buff by the way, works for a very prestigious film festival/high-brow movie theater, so I love it when she likes something really trashy.

The more details I hear about the "Twilight" plots and story elements the more baffled and terrified I am by its popularity.

Greg, if you actually read the books and watch the movies you will be even more baffled. (I've read one book and seen two movies, and the only thing positive I can say about them is that the actors are attractive.)

What, no love for "Paul McCartney Really Is Dead"? Or had you already seen it in 2010? That could be the only possible reason for leaving it off the list.

I forgot about that one! I don't seem to have it in my book. Was that this year? I guess it must be if it's on your list. Obviously my mind was so blown that I forgot to record my viewing.

Movie is dated Sept. 2010, but I first saw it this year and I assume you did too?

Yeah, I only saw it after you guys told me about it. I will have to fix this on my list... Of course the question is do I rank it #1, or absolute last? Tough call.
