Today I had three things to do: Get my TB test read, do a 2-hour volunteer shift at the zoo, and pick up a prescription from Walgreen's. This took me SEVEN HOURS because I ride the bus. I think this is some sort of sign to make me feel better about getting a car.

It still makes me nervous, and sad that I'm not helping out the planet with my bus-ridin', but the freedom is pretty amazing. This city is just not structured the way SF and surrounding areas are, where you can do everything you need to do within a fairly small radius.
That said, I'll probably still ride the bus the days I have class downtown, because I hate driving downtown.

Unless there's an event (Columbus tends to close off like 50% of the major streets) or tearing up a street(Construction season) it's not too bad. Actually, I think there's more traffic in the suburbs, like Westerville.
