I'll preface this by saying that I'm not defending the charges imposed on you, but I feel as if I have a duty to point a few things out.
i realize they will let us leave saying that everything is ok with the room and then go ahead and charge a dirty floor, or spot on a couch.
The person who checks you out of your room is not "letting you leave." He or she is letting you sign the Room Condition Form affirming that you agree to the inventory of the suite. You are free to leave whenever you want, whether you sign it or not.
There was a yellow slip of paper stapled immediately over the place where you signed the RCF stating that your room will be checked "at least two more times" (bolded as I wrote it here) in order to assess damage or improper check-out procedures. You absolutely have to see that slip of paper before you are able to put any ink on the RCF

They should let me clean it myself then. It would even out and they could save a few bucks because they don't need to pay some lame person who got the maitinence job $10 an hour for that duty. I was one of the first people to put my name down for ANY cash job. They failed to let me know that the applications were out until I went to follow up on the job and they told me I didn't have to fill it out because they would give an interview over the phone. Then when nobody called me in the next few days I called again and they said that if I didn't recive a call that I did not get a job. I made a meeting with Mister Wildur and he was nice but said that if I didn't have the expierence in my applicatoin that they would hire outside help rather than students (even though "he wishes he could help all the students first" right!) Well I never filled out the app, so how does he know if I am qualified or not

They should let me clean it myself then.Def. That's why I can't defend the charges. It would have taken you no time to come in and clean the mess
