This is really interesting! Kid!Cas is so cute and I love how we get to see things from John's POV. It also makes me happy to see some good old Winchester family interaction.
This is my first time reading about this verse, I didn't know there are previous installments! But now that I do I'm going to go read them. ^^ I seem to enjoy reading about this a lot. Cool story!

You wanna know what's odd? I always intend to write something great, and then I end up writing genfic out the ass, but I'm glad people like it! The next chapter should really get some progress on the slashy undertones with Sam and Dean.
I'm really glad you like! Just know that this fic isn't 100% of my best effort. I write it, send it to a beta, and post it with very little revision. Just you wait until I post the epic fic I'm cowriting. I'm so excited for it.

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god (sorry, hahaha) I loved this! I just adore reading about when Cas and Dean are kids. Cas is just so... Cas! All proper and formal and completely weird, and I love how Dean completely those things about him, and how he worries about him. Awww, the mental image I get of Dean begging John to let Cas come <3 and John is such a softie. Lol. I guess that's just the kind of affect Cas has on people.
