I've been waiting for a fic like this forever, and here it is, all wonderful and tender and sweet and funny and PERFECT.

I am in love with this 'verse. Humans, satyrs, fauns, centaurs...? YES PLEASE. Is it Narnia? Or just a random place? Either way, I love it.

Oh Tumnus!Charles is so adorable and caring. Tail flicking! Eeee! So cute, even if the creepy satyr didn't do it right.

I really, really hope to see more, and soon! Beautifully written, wonderful set up and great characterisation. I'll give you cookies and hugs and all the internetz for another chapter one with lots of tail flicking.

I have to work on my other Cherik fic today, 'Let Hope Burn In Your Eyes' because I wanted to post the next chapter tomorrow, but if I finish it today, I'll probably write another chapter of this ASAP because it really is too much fun to write. I have an outline all in my head about this epic quest hundreds of miles away, LOTR style to find the place where humans live free, and they kind of fall a little bit in love along the way. (a little bit meaning head over heels)

OH MY GOD.

To be honest, at firt I wasn't sure what to expect, but it caught my attention so I read it anyway.
AND.This.is.perfect.

The character, the environment, the whole human-slavery thing, THIS WHOLE STORY is such a brilliant concept.

I've always loved Mr. Tumnus and now having Faun!Charle is even better! I am in laugh with the characterization! He might be a Faun, but he is still just so Charles!

At the start I was wondering what you'd do with Erik, cause he's so very frightened and not Erik-like at all, BECAUSE of course of all the things he had been through and the fear of getting caught. So at the start he would be scared and distrustful and submittive, just like you wrote him. And I was worried how you'd bring out Erik's actual character. And when that Satyr came you actually managed to make him suddenly act like Erik. It's quite amazing.
