John and I are leaving early Thursday morning to drive to Media West in our new car SARAH. It has so much trunk space, we're bringing my massage chair along and a box of used zines. My plan is to sell used zines in our room and give a free massage to anyone that buys a zine. Hopefully, I'll come home with an empty box or a box full of new zines.

I've been moving into our new house. We got the last load from Crystal's this evening and now we are officially moved in...And we are leaving tomorrow to go to 221B Con and then to Mandy and Nathan's to watch Zoe for a week while Nathan's mom is gone. It's my birthday today and I'm celebrating it by taking my daughter and my grandson to the doctor, then going out to eat lunch...maybe at Red Lobster and then getting a massage in the afternoon. Not sure what's going on for the evening. Got to check to see what movies are showing.

I was waiting in line at Bin Inn, the only place in town I can get Steel Cut Oats, when the customer in front of me was having trouble with her debit card being declined.  She was an older lady getting baking goods.  She had the clerk take the bag of raisins out and retry the debit card and it was accepted.  Another clerk came up and started ( Read more... )

I've spent the last two days calling various airlines trying to find out if the flights we want to take back to Missouri allow dogs as checked baggage or cargo.    It's already costing us $1900 just to get her from New Zealand to the US.  Since we are some distance away from the airport where Stormy will be arriving in Missouri, we would like her ( Read more... )

It might be overkill, but I've signed up for 2 Pregnancy Massage courses.  I had signed up for a New Zealand college of massage course from the same place that I did my chair massage course.  It's in November.  Then I got an email about a Hawaiian Pregnancy massage course from a lady who also does Lomi Lomi in September.  It sounds even better.   ( Read more... )

Since I went back to the US for Mandy's graduation, I missed the Hobbit's world premiere in Wellington.  After seeing pictures with the amount of people there, I'm kind of glad that I didn't go.  They're not having the World Premiere for the Desolation of Smaug in NZ this time ( Read more... )
