I was watching a trailer for Lions for Lambs during break today and recognized the university in the movie as Pitzer College, where I called home for 3 years.  Mead Hall, one of the halls I RA-ed in was featured, as was the clock tower and the succulent garden at the Grove House.  I totally recognized the faculty office that Robert Redford was

It is weird seeing a place you know that well in any media... I remember seeing some documentary piece on college attitudes, and St Cloud State was in it for a segment, and it felt very odd indeed.

On a totally unrelated note, if you're not doing anything tonight (Aug 23rd) there's a rad show at the Sunset Tavern in Ballard...
