Soooo...in a nutshell, tons has been happening in the past few days.  Class is finally over, and so is my job at Seattle Aquarium.  I am now enjoying a week off from work and school and I started it all off with a bonfire at Golden Gardens on friday night.  The police shut us and everyone else down within a half hour, but it was nice to see Erin ( Read more... )

Not only do I know the people at the Museum of the Mysteries, I have a shamefully large collection of books on the paranormal (and the paranormal in the Northwest). So if you're interested in that sort of thing, come and raid my library. I probably know that snarky ghost hunter, too.

It was so nice to see you (and meet all your friends) last night. You are a great group of people. I'll be pinging you with my contact info.

Yeah! It was great to see you last night! I'd been intrigued about the Museum of Mysteries for a while -- mostly because I'm a total museum junkie (my MA is in Museology) and I wanted to check it out. I'm a huge fan of independent museums of all sizes and I wondered if this one might be similar to the Museum of Jurassic Technology in L.A. The paranormal stuff was just a bonus. =)

I'll be posting a party announcement on LJ soon...you will be most welcome!

I feel bad saying this in a public forum, but MOTM was kind of disappointing for me. They're don't seem to have regular hours, and have a tiny amount of exhibit vs. open space. They often have a crew of overly friendly people there hanging out who can seem a little bit clingy, which can really scare people off. I'm not a UFO believer, but I thought the museum itself would be more interesting.

I'll watch for that invite!
