ODST: Initial impressions

Firstly let me say that I only spent about an hour and a half on it last night.  Not a lot, but I did get a pretty good impression at least of the campaign.

1-Lack of Master Chief is much more wtf than I thought it would be.  I can't say I'm a fan of being a random joe.

2-Is it just me or does the plot blow goats?  We skipped through the story stuff

I agree with the plot but the best part is the firefight mode tim barry mark(camby) and i played for 2 hours straight and we had a blast. u should give that a try.

yea, it's more all the Halo 3 Maps and Firefight than the campaign. They did hire decent talent though, mostly the cast from firefly, but the script is really rough. They really needed to polish the Campaign and script more, but then again they made this game in 14 months....

I heard about that--the Firefly thing. Never saw the show so I am unfamiliar with the actors, but I imagine that with a better script, it would have been more bearable.
