Yeah!!! We live here for three years now, and it's the first year that I will be home for the towns annual village fair. Coming weekend, I will be strolling with hubbie and 2 kids, and my friend with hubbie and 2 kids. We'll check out the rummage sale, and my daughter can go on the merry-go-round for the first time.
My friend is my highschool friend, and we have both 2 kids: my son is 3and a half year old, her son 2and a half, my daughter 18 months and her daughter 2 moths. It's very nice to be in the same stage with her. (we are both baptism meters on one kid from the other).
Oh, and although it's quite an urban town here, there is going to be a contest for cattle. I come from a farmers family, and my kids aren't afraid when we visit the grandparents, where they have cows etc., but I am quite curious how they will react on the big horsies. There is a Belgian breed that is quite big, not only in height, but also in width.
I've googled pictures of it:

definetly a male, this one ;)

And no, they don't have a tail, it is was custom to cut it of. Animal protection organisation made it stop. There is a Belgian beer that has these horses as logo, btw, with some fantastic commercials.

But anyway, be prepared for a lot of picspam next week, from kiddies and animals. (Just add Harry Potter and fantasy and there you have all my interests together)

Speaking of animals, even though I work in a pet shop, I can't stop taking care of animals at home, so, here are my dragons. It's real pathetic fun, and I can not see how someone can become addicted to these dragons.

*goes off to charge batteries of camera and camcorder*

picspam, dragons, kids
