Massage? No.

I broke down and got a massage last night. I swear I left out of there more tense than when I went in. It's just something about my personal space being invaded. I found my mind wandering and over analyzing things during the process. It took me a while to get used to massages. I was uncomfortable with the idea, for the same reasons you've stated.

I now have a massage therapist who leaves me feeling SO much better afterward (no, no, not that!) I have made a point of doing it once a month. I find that I've got fewer neck and back issues now.
